Tim, I have had the same problems with mine with larger seed before also. What I did to fix this was take the seed bowl off and add 1/4 flat washers to the 3 bolts that the bowl sits on. All this does is just open the meter up a little to accept the bigger seed, just like the ABC settings. Should solve your problem.
