Subject: RE: Printer

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I have a Minolta Desktop Laser at my home office. It is the 2300 series. I have been happy with it but I must admit I don't do large volumes of printing.

The toner cartridges are quite high priced but in my use, I haven't gone through many.

As has been mentioned, the color lasers do take a fair amount of power and the lights dim in my bedroom converted to office when I turn it on.

Two weeks ago, I purchased the Minolta 2400DL for work. This is the successsor to the 2300 series that I have at home. Part of the motivatation was the cheaper price ($250 at Sam's Club), the good results I had with the 2300 DL and the fact that I accidently ordered a toner for the 2400 when I needed one for the 2300.

As has been stated, it depends on your needs and wants. If one type of printer was the complete answer, there wouldn't be so many choices.
