I would think that a 9230 would be a little light in the poop for a 120' planter. We pull our 60' planter with one and it is just right, though we do mostly no-till. Had it stuck twice this year and would have been many times more with less tractor on it.

We used to use a 9400 and it was nice being able to just always let out the clutch at even an idle and go. Now I have to make sure I'm in 9th gear or lower or have it wound up pretty good to start off.
