NW VA | I find this topic kinda interesting, we have several pull type swathers, all Macdon built. First one is an older 25 ft. Deere. Two years ago we bought a nearly identical Macdon, with a Universal pickup reel. Several weeks ago, we got another 21 ft. that we thought was a Macdon, but on the way home from MN realized that the decal said Premier. There aren't any MacDon dealers within several hundred miles of VA, so a few weeks before we had checked with the JD dealer where it was located in MN about getting some parts, but they said they weren't a Macdon dealer. Didn't know we needed to be asking for Premier parts. Guess life's a little confusing sometimes. | |
