I'd agree with da vinci resolve. Although even the free version does far more than you need at first, and looks hideously complicated, there's a lot of guidance on youtube etc.
You can soon skip through basic edits after an hour or so learning it.
It is very efficient at the final rendering stage which can take hours with 4k especially depending on computer specs.
