Remsen, Iowa | Last week just prior to leaving for the Thanksgiving weekend I attempted to move my Bookmarks (Fire fox) from the desktop to the lap top. In the bookmark files, I was clicked on to the "farm stuff" folder. While trying to figure out how make the move from one computer to the other I hit the cut icon, the folder disapeared and I paniced and had no clue what to do next. I have since learned that I should have hit paste to get them back, anyway I wasn't smart enough to do that [a little knowledge is a dangerous thing]. I remembered about being able to reset the computer back to a certian day ( I forget the proper term for that). So I did just that, thinking that my Bookmarks would show back up just like the were on the reset date. No luck. The computer has been shut off and restarted since that day that I lost the bookmarks.
So the question is - does anybody know how to get my lost bookmark folder back from were ever it is? Or am I just hosed on this deal? | |
