NC Iowa | tranny started slipping between shifts, and throws a code. i think i am looking at a rebuild or replacement. my choices around here that i know of are having amaco rebuild mine, supposedly using heaver duty parts for around $1600.00 parts & labor. this is with a 1 year 12k warranty.
fort dodge transmissions is the other choice. they will be right at $1150.00. that will be about the same price by the time i add in the local labor of $455.00 . they say they use heavy duty parts also. this is an exchange with a 90 day warranty.
any opinion on these options, or other sugestions welcome too. | |
