The dyno CALCULATES horsepower from using a torque x rpm equation. IF the dyno was reading 250hp at 1000 pto rpm, then you have all 250 horses at the rpm. If the operator pulled down the tractor to 900 pto rpm the readout said 250 hp, then you only have 90% of 250 hp.
BTW hp=rpm x torque/5252
Therefore EVERY motor's hp = it's torque at 5252 rpm...weird eh?!?
