Yes, I agree...there is no way to lock the toolbar in the up position. It might be kind of difficult the way the cylinders are designed to lift.
I have a similar tractor. I can't tell the exact model in your pictures either but the tractor handles the negative drawbar fine it just makes some noise when the implement is raised out of the ground.
