Subject: JD 1790 Hydraulic Problem

East Central Kansas
I am having a problem with a 1790 planter and a 8300 JD Tractor. We have just bought the planter and tried hooking it up today. First of all, this 8300 was hooked to a 1770 and ran it fine through corn planting, I don't think I have any issues with the tractor. The problem: when I try to run all hydraulic fuctions, both vacs and ccs, the hydraulic hoses go under so much pressure, they unhook from the back of the tractor and blow oil all over. The hoses that come unhooked are the return hoses. What I am doing is engaging the vacs first, then engage the ccs with the planter lowered to the ground. runs for 4 to 5 seconds and one of the vac return hoses pops out. The vac or the ccs runs fine individually, it only does this when i engage them all together. Any ideas? I am thinking the oil is not returning in the case drain like it should. Is there a solinoid that is not working to open a valve to return the oil to the sump when the ccs is running? Any ideas?
