Our MT765 had similar symptoms with intermittent hydraulic problems. After many hours of work by a service tech, the problem ended up being the ignition key switch. There is a safety circuit that won’t let the hydraulics function during startup and our key switch was intermittently telling the ECM that it was in the start position. Didn’t cost much for the switch, but finding the problem was pricey.
