Subject: RE: Buying Activated Charcoal for Sprayer Cab Filter

The bag lasts more than a year.  Well, I suppose it depends on how often you change the charcoal and how big your filter is.  I've got a couple of the Dutch Industries filters and change the charcoal once a year.  Each bag does 3-4 changes on my tractors.  My biggest complaint is that my filters didn't come with foam around BOTH sides where it mates to the cab roof and the plate that holds it in.  Stupid thing was sucking dirty air around the edge and it was getting in unfiltered.  After I figured out what was going on and bought some weatherstripping from the local hardware store I was MUCH happier with them.  Part of it was due to less-than-perfectly-straight plastic on the tractor roof, too.
