Subject: Building a road/yard drag or leveler

Southwest ND
Have some 4"X8" I-beam that I want to build a pull behind drag for around the yard and dirt trails. Want to go 3-pt. because of cattle guards. Anybody come up with a good design that cut's and levels good? Was thinking making it a three rank with 2 of the 3 beams angled somewhat. If beams angled opposite ways the one behind would have to be wider to catch the ridge left by front beam. Factory made ones have sides but are they necessary? Is 12' to wide? Please describe your design. TIA
