Eastern Washington | Take the nuts off and look at the holes and bolts and see if the bolts are pulled or pushed tight in either direction. Depending on alignment and field shape it could be either way. We use a boom truck for support and if there is tension we hold a middle tower and force the end to run a bend into the circle, (like it safety'd out). then hold the end and let the middle towner run into alignment until it forces the tension out of the joint at the pivot. If it is pushing at the pivot, hold the end tower and force the middle tower to run and it will pull the pipe away from the pivot eliminating the push. Gotta be a little careful not to do to much at once, it may take a few try's to get things centered so you can get them apart and back together without a big hassel. | |
