NC
do you plant the ends on your operation? when we got our first JD 600A, it had the crop dividers on all 3 wheels. after a coupla rounds in tall corn, they had to come off. they where tearing down way too much corn. since then we have never run crop dividers cept for the front wheel with the shock on the newer High Boys. but we have always planted the end rows which is where the trouble is only at with them. though, we found the same problem with spraying beans for late season worms with them on.

do like how the only thing running in the rows is the tires on your rig though. when we used to have to spray corn after pollination for morninglorys, felt like the center of the highboy did some damage to the ears it was hitting. if you could wait till it was black layered it was best i felt but some had mg's so bad if you waited till then they would have choked the High boy off and tore down a bunch of corn dragging them with up!!!! have seen mg vines stacked close to 2ft tall on top of the hood right there at the steering column from just one pass. those cabless High Boys made getting that off fast & easy though, just stand up, reach over and throw 'em off one side! jde
