With the amount of trash you have, and the size of it ( long peices, some of which will still be anchored) I think you definately want some sort of coulter out front of the knife, regardless of whether you apply NH3 or UAN. If you dont slice through the trash ahead of the knife you will almost certianly begin draggin trash with the knife.
