Subject: 3440 spra-coupe

I had a Tee jet boom selector electronic ball valve assembly go bad today so I bought a new updated Tee jet unit but its shape is quite different and wont fit into place like my old one anyone have this problem and what did you do? Pictures are always helpful. TIA
