| The idea is to add a switch to shut down the pump, not to go around the crash switch.
Trouble with keeping the pump going all the time is that it wears out sooner and probably runs the injector rail pressure too high causing the engine to run rich and the economy to be poor. So fixing the relay should be the preferred cure. Probably is a common cube relay that about $4 at a car parts store.
