1086 with normal power should handle a 1760 just fine. Put some weights on the front and put the duals on for the hills and soft ground. If you're flat and no-till, or no fertilizer, duals optional. If it's a vac planter, don't know if the 1086 hydraulics will handle it, but probably would unless you go with esets. We pulled a 7200 12 row for years with a 4250, and that's a heavier planter than our current 1760.
