Kansas | That thing is a tank of some sorts with the bracing I'm seeing in there and what looks like a hole in the top left side of the bottom picture.
How close to the road is this thing Nick? I'm starting to wonder it it was some sort of a pit under an outhouse style restrooms facility back in the day.
It hasn't been buried that all to long. There is still red paint on the one side.
That "Dirt" you dumped out of it easily accessible still? You should send a sample of it in and then pull a sample from somewhere else in the field and see if there is a considerable nitrogen difference. That would tell you right fast if it was a crapper tank.
The hooks in the corners is what throws me though. I don't know if that was to anchor something down to it or they were used to suspend this tank when being used for something else.
