Subject: auger gear box

St.Clair Co. IL.
I just had a DISCUSSION! with my brother, man he gives me a pain in the a$$.Anyway who's right here. he has been hauling some grain out, and I told him if he needs to when he gets to different bins he could flip the gear box over to the other side to get the angle he needs to get under the auger (westfield auger) I already did this for mine, he blew a gasket saying by doing that you put a different contact on the gears and the gear box will go out!! I told him he's nuts! cause the box still turns the same way and the only difference is it's on the other side, who's right. why should it make any difference? that's why the box has mounting holes on both sides right? Answer's please no matter who's right seems I'm always wrong anyway Thanks Bob
