For me, a lot of it depends on if will warm up again during the next day. If its going to get cold overnight but up in the 40's later, no big deal. There have been times when it got cold on me before they got turned off and I got scared of popping every regulator on the machine, so they got to run when I meant for them not to. So far so good. As mentioned above, keeping ice off of the trusses and main pipe are the key.
