Subject: Trying to figure out Yale/mazda ignition system

I seem to be having ignitor problems (pickup/electronic ignition module that's inside the distributor instead of points). The engine will run perfect and then loose spark and quit. There appears to be voltage to the ignitor, but I don't have anyway to test it (oscilloscope, timing light that works on low voltage). The ignitor has been replaced along with the coil, cap, rotor, wires and plugs. It could be bad again, or something upstream is causing the problem - does anybody know if these engines use a separate ignition box in addition to the distributor module? Any idea on how to troubleshoot these types of ignitions? Any good websites for forklifts (I've found a few, but not much help).

Thanks in advance,

Pat
