SE Michigan | Have a JD 212, owned it for almost 18 years now. Just restored it last year, and started using it again to mow some small area that I can't get at with my bigger mower. It sat for several years, cleaned the gas out and charged the battery, tough old tractor, ran fine. Sat again for a year or so, got it out and started restoring. Took the sheet metal off, cleane everything and repainted the frame and everything else.
Here is the problem:
Let out the clutch and the tractor will barley move forward and take a long time to get up to speed. Today I replaced both drive belts thinking that they got oil or grease when I was cleaning it for paint.
Still does the same....... any ideas??
