absolutely worth it. We had the entire kit on our 693 for the first time this past fall and it made a whole different head out of it. Snaps the stalks off nice, a whole lot less trash coming in the machine. You won't be sorry. The first pic is what the head did before the kit was installed. The other pics show it in action. It was late and the stalks were dry and brittle in these pics and still very little trash coming in the head and no leaves or pieces of stalk in the bin.
