SE PA | I've been fighting the MFWD for the past year - I had the MFWD clutch rebuilt - it had bad o-rings. I took the solenoid and valve out, it works. The diagnostics say that the switch works. I get the error code of 86 in the CCU codes - and that says that there is either a bad wire, or the CCU has gone bad. I had bad wires, a year ago, and fixed them. I have disconnected the plug for the solenoid, and I have a good ground, and I do not have a ground on the 'hot' wire. I don't have a any current, but I don't have a ground, either. So that seems like it might be alright. I am looking real hard at the CCU It has just over 5700 hours on it. So I am wondering if there's any way to test this thing, and if somebody like Ag Express could repair it.
