My encounters with tru-counts have been hit and miss, we have had bad luck with 1200 CASE IH planters, and Kinze "pusher" units. I have had great luck wtih John Deere Pro-shafts, and regular kinze bars. I have noticed that cleaning them helps as well, but the CASE and kinze units just plain failed. We have had decent luck with WHITEs and AgLeaders new surestop clutch, after we did some modification, at first they were a battle, but after we did some planter "riding" and looking for errors on the go, we tweaked them and they have worked great ever since.
