| We have a large parcel of land (1,056 acres one continuous chunk) for sale. Looking for 900-1000 an acre. What happened to all the buyers? What about the exchange where land jockeys were buying and selling using the section 179 or 1031 or whatever? Apparently, people want better land than what we have to offer? 750-800 acres tillable, some tiled and grew soybeans and wheat last year (and filled our deer tags, including a 10 pointer). Little or no interest. I just don't get it when you hear the other high numbers out there. I need a new method of advertisement. Maybe old fashioned word of mouth is best, who knows.
