central nebraska | I have seen a few posts on closing wheels. We have tried a few different ones here are some pictures of the Loftquist closing wheels we are using. They use the original rubber closing wheel, the steel ring goes on in place of the rubber ring. We have found that they close the seed trench very well in wet clay soils. They are made by Lofquist Welding, Elwood, Nebraska; 308-785-2755.
