north central Iowa | Rolling is the greatest thing we have done to our beans. No more picking rock in them, completely destroys clods and rootballs, and an absolute joy to harvest rolled acres vs. non rolled acres. Roll a field and leave maybe one or two strips to compare at harvest and you will wonder why you ever left a strip. Seems like for us, we pick up some of those bottom pods better where before they might get cut with the sickle. | |
