Statesville, NC | The sprockets may be designed for 2050 (extended pitch) chain, even if they appear to be single pitch sprockets. The spacing is slightly different for a sprocket designed for extended pitch chain, the teeth are slightly farther apart, more so on small diameter sprockets. This is because on a small sprocket, the double pitch chain is going straight across two teeth where a single pitch chain would be angled at each pitch, therefore shortening it's length.
