Subject: RE: Raw Survey Data

Hi Andy,
The data would have been picked up in what they call a multiplane txt file. Tell your surveyor to send you the multiplane.txt file that was created when he surveyed. This file is in an ascii format with the lat / lon of the masterbench and the survey data as offsets in feet from this position. You can read this file with a text editor. You should be able to modify it enough to be able to import the data into excel.
If you are after the design, there is a file with a .gps extension. If you can get this you can look at it in our online viewer. Go to foresoft.com and toward the top left you will see a link to Trimble FL2 viewer. This lets you look at what the data looks like.
