Subject: RE: Knee Replacement 'Revision'

south east SD
Boy I can write the book on knee replacements.

For starters I had a bad left knee as a kid, remember limping around as a 5 year old and it didn’t bend very well all my life.

The 5th surgery was a complete joint at 40 and it didn’t bend very well.

Got a revision at 57 and it was the best knee I ever had!! 8 months later it was infected, open it up and clean it up plus drugs. 2 years later drugs were making me sick so I stopped and the knee blew up. Pull all parts out for 2 months with a spacer. Installed new knee and has worked great since 2017.

November of this year I did the right knee, 6 weeks post and it’s doing well.

9 surgeries total, 8 on the left and one one the right

Picture of both done, left knee has bigger hardware.
