Anyways, swapping SIM cards will get you the service. Especially easy if your “new” phone is unlocked. I’m on Verizon and it’s literally pop and go.
If the new phone is factory reset you can do the contact and information transfer by initiating the transfer from the new phone. There’s a wizard that pops up when you turn it on the first time after a factory reset on the new device. One thing apple does great is make it easy to “upgrade” devices.
You can also go through iCloud via WiFi as well. Both transfer options will require you to sign into the new phone with your Apple ID. It has to be the same ID. | |
