Ok, question time I guess.

Is the GS2 going to be fully functional in 2007 combines(meaning on screen mapping, etc.), or will it have to emulate the GS1 displays?

Yes, this is working now - some of the setup is still in the emulator, but all the HarvestDoc functions are on the GS2.

Is GS2 going to be fully functional at some point with recent model planters(IE 2005 MY) or will it have to emulate the GS1 displays or is running them in tandem still necessary? I know this past year it had to, but is there any hope it will work?

Offical word is that the JD factories are "actively pursuing full planter and GS2 integration" but you wont see it this year as far as I know. Any SeedStar functions will have to be emulated or displayed on a GS1 in a dual screen setup.

Is the GS2 fully functional with air seeders (IE 2006 MY) meaning will it do onscreen mapping, guidance, and monitor the seeder? Or is running GS1 still necessary?

Yes the onscreen mapping and guidance is now working, however planter emulation is still required.

The GS2 is fully functional in 4710 sprayers is it not? I know our salesman was wanting us to try swath-pro on it last summer.

Short answer is yes, but getting it to work will depend on the SN of the sprayer. Some will need controller upgrades etc.
