WCIN | My thoughts of what I do is:: If you have the leaks fixed, then use a flush kit to flush out the oil and contaminents, replace the drier, and button the thing up. Use mineral oil and Hotshot to fill the system. It will lower the demand on the compressor and cool the cab better.
If you have leaks w/Hotshot---------the lighter, more cooling ability gases will go first, thus giving you good pressures, but less cooling in the evap.--- hotter in the cab.
If you are happy the way it cooled, use the pag oil and R-134a.
If your leak was slow and didn't blow much oil out, don't add anymore than required for the fixed part.
