Subject: Kinze brush meter planting to slow.

Actually this isn't KStater, but the office computer was already logged in to NAT. I have one brush meter out of twelve that is noticeably planting at a slower rate than the others. This is the third planter we have had with brush meters and have never noticed a problem like this. I have verified the problem by marking (2) units worth of seed in the boxes. After running about 1.75 units of seed out of the other boxes, I have to remove about 25# worth of seed to make it visually match the level of the other units. I can see no problems appearance wise with the meter compared to the others. I have switched it to other row units so that I could verify that the problem lies with the brush meter and not the planter.
Whats the deal here? Not a huge deal, but things like this drive me up a wall trying to figure them out. FYI, seed is running around 3k per #, +- 100. I am shooting for just shy of 140 k pop., running peat based innoculate and cruiser treated seed. Thanks.
