Subject: RE: bait

Whatever brand of bait  you buy, get a bar bait of some kind.  It needs to be something they have to chew to move.  Pellet bait can be carried by rodents and not consumed.  I've told the story before about working on a customer's Warm Morning stove and the burner being full of D-Con pellets.  I've heard similar stories from auto mechanics where the air filter can was full of mouse bait.  If they don't HAVE to chew it the effectiveness is a lot less.

Also, I have been told never touch the bar withyour bare hand.  Often the rodent will smell you and avoid the bait. I usually just use my pliers to take the bait out of the bucket and toss it.
