Get a larger diameter bin and something a little taller and you could probably have 3 to 4 stories in there. 

Of course the ideal most efficient house would be completely underground and not even be noticeable with grass growing right on top. Heating and cooling costs would be next to nothing. Perhaps a small central transom skylight to let sunlight in.

Nice and secure with no worries about windows or concerns when the non stop winds roar through "here" and peel off shingles and tear stuff up on an all too consistent basis. You'd surely want a very good drainage and moisture control system though.
