Many, many years ago when dad first started farming here he only had one dumptruck to run from the field to the wet bin.  He buried a gravity box, put in a pressure switch which would shut off the auger when the box was empty. That way he could run back to the field and when he returned the box was empty.

Main concerns would be water and safety.
