Subject: RE: Headline on corn

North central, IA
Bob - I finished a 55a field on Tues. (before the monsoons came here). Half the field was treated with headline at a 90 degree angle to the rows. When I was running the combine I was entirely convinced the headline treated area ws significantly higher yield. The yield map did not show what I thought I would see as distictly as I thought I would see it. Moisture was variable but not neccessarily consistent with the headline treatment. I would say from this one field the results were inconclusive.

Final yield was 215 dry.

Moisture was 22.7

We have a couple hundred more acres of headline treated corn so hopefully will have more info later.
