Thanks for posting your observations. I saw similar plant differences in my con-till vs notill strips this season. The tilled strips were healthier looking and a little taller but yield wasn't different enough to pay for the extra operations "this year." Now if I could only make it rain when I wanted it too, or get the neighbors to cut hay more often in August.
