South-central Nebraska | I'm on the fence to go all out and go irrigated corn on corn. Some guys in my area are doing it but they are running a turbo till one or two times in addition to fertilizing. So, this doesn't really sound like no-till in my book. I've stuck with ridge tilling my corn on corn. Beans yields seem to be higher than average this year. May switch a few acres back to beans for 2009. | |
