I totally agree on that Bill. The reason 9-18-9 is not is safe is because they have to use ammonium nitrogen to get the analysis higher...causing higher salt, thus hurting crop saftey. I asked our rep that and thats the saying he gave me. And why do you see a yield bump on 6-24-6 over 9-18-9? Phos, phos, phos! The only reason 9-18-9 is so popular is because everybody makes it....but salt contents are all over the board. I was thinking on that analysis...maybe it was something that there was water on the bottom of your tank or water in his tank?? It don't take much to dilute it down a little bit. p.s. Still too wet in NE WI...probably about 1 week away if it doesn't rain....
