we have brome, and i think the only option for us is beans. burning or baling the brome, then burn it down with a couple quart rndup. then no till beans in.. get all the goodies of 20 yrs in crp. hopefully a little better dirt than when it went in.. the first yr no till is alright given the right weather, but the second and third it really starts to shine..

i hope i am not saying to myself, "i know why they put this stuff in the crp in the first place!"
