The last crp ground I planted was done this way. Baled hay off in August, sprayed Roundup in September, notilled corn the following April. The corn did excellent. The only problem I had was so many voles on that ground I had to put bait boxes on the planter to put bait in furrow to kill them. It pretty much wiped them out.
Best crop after CRP?
