Subject: Photoperiod sensitive sorghum silage ?

Grandview, TX
I am thinking about planting some sorhum silage for a dairy next year. This is a brand new thing around here and I was wondering what I can expect for typical yields ? I will be planting a photoperiod sensitive BMR variety on dryland in 16'' rows. I am located in north central Texas. Thanks
