I have baled stalks a little wet a time or two, yes they will mold. If stacked tight with no air they can get very hot, spread them out for awhile if possible but I dont think you will stop mold deep inside if they were baled tight. I have salted small squares when baled to wet I dont know if it would work on big round bales.
