We butchered our oldest son's show steer last year. He was the one that suggested it to us as he really likes steak. No regrets! Top quality meat that we all enjoyed. He loved raising his calf and had no issues with it as he was a fairly good tempered calf. Weighed just over 1350 when we hauled him to the meat packer.
