| i've had an 8 year old cow exhibit some unusual physical signs the past 4 days. there will be a red "ball" sticking out of rear end. the "ball" is about the size of a 16" softball and is red with veins and skin showing. the cow shows no signs of straining, the ball usually goes back inside of her after a while, and she is eating normally etc. the cow should be close to calving, but don't remember having a situation like this before. | |
